Role Description

At Lethbridge Pet Hospital we know that proper pet grooming not only makes your pet look good, but also contributes to their overall health and wellbeing. Our groomer will be responsible for performing grooming services, including brushing, bathing, nail trimming and haircuts,The Pet Groomer will also be responsible for assessing pets’ skin and coat health, noting any concerns to share with pet owners. They must adhere to grooming standards, pet safety protocols, and salon procedures. We specialize in creating a stress-free environment for pets and their owners, offering top-quality grooming services for dogs, cats, and other furry companions along with our extensive veterinary services. As our team expands, we’re looking for a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join us in delivering exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pet groomer or completion of grooming certification/training program
• Excellent knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles and techniques
• Patience and a love for working with animals of all sizes and temperaments
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-friendly attitude
• Ability to lift pets and stand for extended periods
• Certification in pet grooming is preferred but not required
